I have had several different brands on my Supra, but I have to say, these are great!
They grip well in dry or wet, wear like iron and very predictable handling. I have had more than one set of these and are the only tire I will buy. I have had this Supra for over 15 yrs, Twin Turbo conversion. Put them through hell in the North Carolina mountains many times (tail of the dragon and other twisty roads). You can't even tell they have been slid around the bends.
I would recommend them to anyone!

Bought 4 of them last week to replace the original ones. Very quiet and smooth when driving. I am not an aggresive racing driver so it completely meets my driving needs. Compared to original Michelin tires, it performs pretty much the same, so what is the point paying high prices but getting similar results? In today's economy, low price wins.

Tires held up well until about 30K miles, since then they are so loud that I thought I had a worn out hub bearing. They are SCREAMING now, lots of vibration. Time for new tires, I see the Dunlops are getting great reviews, time to try them out.

Original OEM tires, Eagle RSA. (4 of them failed one at a time due to tread seperation in 1st 20,000 miles, dealer replaced three). I feared for my families life so I junked them and put on the Hankook Ventus HRII H405s. I now have 55,000 miles on these tires with zero problems and I have yet to reach the wear bar indicators, but it is time to replace them. Performance is great and with traction control ice and snow are no problem. However, I live in Colorado at 7,000 feet and do know how to drive in winter weather. I have also put these same tires on my Mercedes SL500 and the performance is super, but I do not drive it in the winter except during good weather. I am in the process of replacing the Hankook tires with another set that are exactly the same. Hankooks are safe and sane for most drivers and a great value.

After owning these tires for about a year and putting about 9K miles on them, all four tires split along the sidewall. I am so disgusted with the product that I am at a loss for words. The tread is practically new yet they split on both sides. Manufacturer warranty is 90 days. Even if I had paid extra for the warranty, I would never put these back on my car.

I have the 205/55 R16S. Bought for everyday use. Running with the NISMO S-tune pack, the stiff suspension makes the tires break grip easily when you push. Also they seem to vibrate at +highway speed (still lower than rated).
Running 33psi on front, 32 back and the frontright sidewall is cracking after only a year of use . One of the treads split when I was tailing a friend in a corner. Piteful and somewhat dangerous.
Wet traction is surprisingly good, but mainly due to the middle channel causing the tires to track in heavy poors, keeping the car on path.
Nevertheless, tread life is impressive, I still have most of the thread intact after all this mileage. But what is it good for when the tire itself is shredding?
Recommended for city/light use, not for driving enthusiasts. You get what you pay for.

If your driving an import - sports or family - BUY THESE TIRES. We put a set of 205/55/16 on our AWD Matrix and in every respect of tire performance these HANKOOK tires are outstanding. I want to put a set on my Dodge Dakota - but it appears HANKOOK doesn't have the size for the Dakota. Fact is, I like these HANKOOK tires on our Matrix so much I may change rim size on the Dakota just so I can put on a set of HANKOOK's. Choose the HANKOOK for your car/truck - You won't be sorry.

I bought these tires because of the price mainly, so I didn't expect them to fare well but these were ridiculous. To be fair, a 540 with the sport package goes through back tires so they did fair. I get that mileage out of Nitto DRs on my Camaro so comparing to that, not so good. The rears are completely gone.
The fronts are a different story. While the tread has lasted, the tires chopped shortly after I got them and are the noisiest tires I've ever owned. I cannot wait for them to wear out so I can replace. At speeds less than 5mph, you can actually feel how uneven the tread is.
I have not tested these tires more than once so take this review for what it's worth. If you've got a 540i with the sport package though, reconsider now.
