In July of 2012 I purchased a used 2001 Saturn SC2, equiped with Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid tires (see my review of those tires). After driving 9,000 miles with the Bridgestones, I couldn't stand the NOISE these tires made any more I finally got rid of them and purchased a set of Goodyear Assurance Comfortread Touring tires. I choose these tires because of the excellent experience I have had with them on my '97 Saturn SL2. These Goodyears are quiet, smooth, surefooted, and are guaranteeed to last 80K miles. Sure, the import junk tires are cheaper and have half the mileage rating, and those Bridgestones I got rid of had deafeneing unbearbal NOISE! These Goodyears are a superior, top of the line, well enginered tire, and a great value. I wish i had gotten rid of the Bridgestones sooner.

I needed some new tires for my 2005 ford focus wagon as the tires currently on the car were extremely noisy. After shopping around i decided to buy goodyear assurance comfort tread tires they were expensive but well worth it. When i drove out of my local discount tire with the new tires installed i immediately noticed a much quieter ride i was so happy the irritating tire noise was gone. The only issue i had with the tires was when they were new they made a basketball like sound when you hit bumps in the road but that went away after i put some miles on the tires and they ride nice and quiet now. As far as traction goes they are exellent in wet,dry and in the snow and the car handles very well with these tires. Thanks to goodyear for a great product and to discount tire for exellent service.
