We live 6 miles off the hiway on gravel in NE Montana. The old Bonneville is my wife's daily driver. We were going through regular mud & snow tires every 20,000 miles with poor mud & snow performance. Did a live chat & settled on the Yokohamas which were more a suv tire. Went with a little narrower & more aggressive tread. Mud & snow traction is awesome & treadwear is better than anything previous.

Tire Pros

Long lasting, durable, even wear, great traction off road, good on road manners,

Tire Cons

None Provided

I replaced the factory junk tires with these at 28,400 miles and now have 99k+. Talking about a night & day difference. I have taken this little crv places I normally take my built for offroad jeep. I've had these on muddy forest roads, sandy washes, in snow, and have been impressed every time. Just rotate every 5k and have worn evenly. I also use this car for a 35 mile round trip commute & have to say this has some of the best onroad manners of an all terrain tire. Sure they are a little more noisy than a dedicated road tire, but the wet traction, durability, side wall strength, more than make up for it. Basically, if you are looking for all season comfort with all terrain traction, this tire is for you.

Tire Pros

Decent tread life Relatively quiet

Tire Cons

Poor traction on ice, even when new.

These came on my Subaru Forester from the factory, and have been decent tires. Good tread life, but I drive fairly mild. I am certainly glad that I bought a set of Yokohama Ice Guard 20s to run on winter rims, because these Geolanders were pathetic on ice.
