Tire Pros

Aggressive look and Kevlar strong

Tire Cons

Short tread life, extremely expensive, bad road noise (even in diesel), balancing problems.

Compared to the original Goodyear MTRs these don't stack up. The worst part has been the bad ride quality due to balancing issues. In the mud they were ok but in sand might as well be dragging an anchor.

Tire Pros

Kevlar (duh), durability, looks, overall performance on dry, wet, snow, mud, and off road.

Tire Cons

Price. Also could be better on snow/ice conditions.

If you want a great, overall tire. This is it. First, Kevlar is awesome. Second, the tires look great. And, last, they perform very well. I've had these tires on my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, and have tried them in all sorts of conditions. They work great when it's dry, grip well in heavy rain, tear up the snow and gets you where you need to go. They've also proven themselves worthy in mud and rocks. The only terrain where I could have used more traction is in thick packed snow/ice. Deep in some mountains, this terrain was difficult to conquor. I haven't tried other tires on this terrain, so it's hard to say that another tire would have performed any better. As far as road noise, they seem pretty quiet. Keep in mind, I do drive a Jeep, so quiet is relative. Anyways...all in all, I'd buy this tire again.

Tire Cons

icy, packed snow

Overall, I liked the old MTR better in snow/ ice, but otherwise these seem like great tires. They really dig when you need them to and seem tough. I would buy them again

Tire Pros

Great traction both on and off road. Relatively quite, but just loud enough to hear howling.

Tire Cons

None as of yet.

This is my second round of buying these tires for this truck and second round for a 94 chevy. Great tire, I love the aggressive, tuff look. They are evenly worn and would suggest them to anyone who asks.
