Tire Pros

The tires have wonderful predictability. They corner at very high limits, rarely losing traction no matter how hard they are driven.

Tire Cons

the tires can be a little noisy after break in and the tread life often falls short, if driven hard.

When I first switched from the tires that the car was factory equipped with I was literally shocked! I could carry an additional 10-15 mph. in most off or on ramps. The predictability of the Falkens and negligible breakaway characteristics were a night and day improvement over the factory tires. It was like the difference between a high school track team and Usain Bolt. The Falkens are born of the racing division for Sumitomo Rubber Co. In performance and handling this history comes through, loud and clear. These really are an extremely good tire for an excellent price.

Tire Pros

Great price, nice tread patter

Very noisy on a BMW 328i. They sound like mud tires and hum loud on surface streets through the city

Very noisy on a BMW 328i. They sound like mud tires and hum loud on surface streets through the city. Other than that, great tire.

Tire Pros

Quiet Smooth Ride Decent Handling Price

Tire Cons

High speed cornering 80 mph a little loose.( but that could be due to lack of alignment.)

I have a RWD bmw 328i sedan with Continental run flat stock tire before. I feel that in high speed cornering on the freeway (bends) the Falken tire are a bit loose than the continental tire that were stock. However, the Falkens are much smoother ride feel. The price difference is quite a lot so you get what you pay for. I bought a fix a flat and have AAA so the need for a spare tire isn't really necessary per-say. My other choice I was looking at was the Kuhmo Ecsta which the sales associate said was only 30k warranty vs the Falkens 40-50k warranty so for $5-10 more per tire I think I made the right decision.
