Tire Pros

They are Michelins, need i say more? Excellent wear after 30k.

Tire Cons

none

I purchased these to replace the oem Michelin latitudes on my 2011 Equinox.I now have 100,000 miles on that vehicle,30,000 on the Energy saver A/S, and they are wearing evenly. They provide a smooth, quiet ride and as soon as Michelin offers another rebate I will purchase my next set for when the tires do need replacement.

I bought these tires to replace the factory tires on my 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The factory tires rode hard and were very noisy. The Michelins were much quieter, and rode smooth.

Tire Pros

Fuel economy good cornering dry traction Threadwear

Tire Cons

No snow traction Bad wet traction extremely noisy of cement

Had a lot of hopes for this tire being Michelin. However, from the get-go this tire did not perform. It has good traction on dry pavement, and it is (was) quiet on asfalt. It is soft riding tire and did increase my mpg. My concern before I bought it that my cornering will be affected since this is softer tire. This concern didn't materialize. Cornering is great, as long as surface is dry. This tire has big rubber blocks design to increase fuel efficiency, and a lot of negative characteristics are explained by this fact. Now 30K later, it is much noisier especially on the cement (you can barely talk) Traction in the rain was OK - manageable. Now it is worse. But the worst is snow/ice traction. Or absence of thereof. This tires behave like bold tires or summer tires in the snow. Rav4 is a heavy car, but even then on every turn, back slips. It is impossible to start moving without traction control kicking in. I think that this tire might be OK on lighter, lower vehicle but not on SUV.
