Tire Pros

very quiet compared to goodyear emt.and price is very reasonable in comparison to replacement goodyears

Tire Cons

seams a little softer when cornering

installed michelin tire on 2004 corvette convertible ,what a differance over the goodyears.goodyears had 23000 miles since new but there is no comparison in ride and i can hear the sterio without turning up the volume. will have a better feel for these tires in two weeks after a 1000 mile trip.I would recommend these and yes they are runflats for added safety.

Tire Pros

Very quiet Soft ride Tread life

Tire Cons

Generally weak traction Poor wet traction Over-stiff sidewall can cause small traction footprint and uneven wear. Reduced gas mileage

These tires provide the smoothest and quietest ride I've experienced on my Corvette. I've squeezed about 40k mi out of them and they've never gotten noisy. Not something you'd expect from Goodyear or even other Michelin tires. Obviously there is a trade-off between tread life and performance. These tires have less traction in all conditions than OEM and noticeably poorer traction in wet vs dry conditions. The lower traction is seamlessly handled by the active handling system of Corvette, so it's not overly troublesome unless you're in the twisties having fun. The deal breaker for me is the poor gas mileage I experienced with these tires -- about 10% less. I bought these tires for commuting, so I wanted them to last; but with the gas mileage cost, they were probably more expensive to own than many. more expensive, tires.
