Tire Pros

Good for wet weather, heavy loads, and good looks.

Tire Cons

Not really a street tire but comfortable for an off road tire.

I put these on my 2008 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner and after 8,000 miles they're doing great. These tires seem like they want dirt but if you use them for heavy loads they handle great on the street. You also need to be on it with rotating them every 5,000 miles. Good tire for the price. They look sharp and rugged at the same time.

Tire Pros

Soft sidewall construction. Takes a long time for the tire to settle into cornering.

Tire Cons

Great traction especially in snow. Tread cleans well when in mud.

Overall, not a bad tire but the handling characteristics leave a lot to be desired. They are wearing extremely well.

Tire Pros

This is the best off road tire I have ever had on the truck....will deal with mud to the hubs and snow also.

Tire Cons

it doesnt last as well on mostly highway driving.

I bought this tire for my 84 Dodge PowerRam 4wd when we lived in Central Colorado, tire was very good on road but phenomenal offroad. Retired and moved down to Kansas to help on the farm, it is 4 years later and the tires still look like new. They go through mud like it is no ones business and run down the dirt roads extremely well. I have recommended these tires to a few people who have bought them...if you stay off pavement they last forever, asphalt they wear but not bad. concrete roads they wear out fast. I am sorry if you live in a City and never get off road and bought these tires, they will wear out quickly. If you live somewhere where at least half of your driving is off pavement they will run forever. Have a nice Day!!

Tire Pros

Good service life. Secure handling characteristics. Good street and desert off road performance.

Tire Cons

none

Bought these tires in 2005, and though they showed some weather checking three years ago, they have given me between 55K and 60K of mixed city, highway, and desert/western mountain off road driving. I never felt any discomfort from the tires in off road situations - soft sand, gravel, a little mud but not real bad stuff, just stream crossings; they handled them all with aplomb. It is time for new tires, and Yokohama Geolandar AT-S gets my nod again. Discount Tire is a good outfit to do business with in my estimation; they have treated me right, like a valued customer. Rotations, and flat repairs have always been part of the service part of their customer care package. They have never given me any reason to distrust them.
