Tire Pros

Rides good Quiet Great traction in off road conditions

Tire Cons

Horrible tread life

I actually have 305/70-R16's but for some odd reason the website wouldn't let me write a review if I chose that size. I've had them for 16 months and 23,000 miles. At about 14,000 miles I had to have one replaced under warranty for cracking. Now, at 23,000 miles, all but the one that was already replaced are bald. Literally, no tread left. These are great tires and I have absolutely loved them but if they only last 20k miles that is completely unacceptable.

Tire Pros

Nice looking. Wears well.

Tire Cons

Hard ride.

These are very nice tires but be careful of your expectations. They ride hard because of the 35 psi tire pressure. But they have a comforting "stickiness" and stay of the road very nicely. I'll buy four more when I use these up.

Tire Pros

Good Traction Hauls trailers well

Tire Cons

Tread life is about 45,000 to 50,000 miles.

I have about 4-5 sets of these tires on several different vehicles. My primary driving is on pavement but have done my share of off road to include deep sands at the beach. I have never been stuck in mud (with in reason), sand, snow. These tires have performed well in snow conditions and have not worried about sliding. Tread life for these tires are about 45,000 to 50,000 miles and that is with tire rotations and proper air pressure. All my tires I have has had the same life expectancy. The tires had a 50,000 mile warranty and I do not see it being offered any longer. My last set had the warranty and Discount Tire honored it by prorating it and giving the new tires at discounted price. Over all it is a very good tire for all conditions and I would consider buying again after researching other off road tires that has a warranty and good price.

I am on literally my tenth set of BF Goodrich all terrain tires. The ALL TERRAINS are not the best off road tire for dry roads, not the best for wet roads, not the best for mud, not the best for sand, not the best for rocks. But I doubt you'll find a tire that performs as well as these tires in all conditions. Since my first set in 1991 on a K-5 Blazer, to my current set on an 2009 Tacoma, I have had these tires in every form of terrain and weather condition there are, and have yet to have one fail me. In all honesty, I only get 40k-45k out of a set, and that's keeping the tires rotated and properly inflated. For some reason I don't get the ultra high miles some people claim, but knowing the capability and dependability of this tire in off-road and bad road situations is worth having a tire which may not last like a Michelin LTX. I'll buy these tires for my off road vehicles as long as they make them.
