Poor tire wear, only 43,000 miles and down to wear bars.

I purchased these tires for my wifes 2005 Lexus RX 330 in April of 2011. Now in January of 2012 they are down to the wear bars and only have 43,0000 miles on them. I rotate the tires every 5,000 miles and still they don't give anywhere near the rated 65,000 miles. I wouldn't buy another set of these tires again. I am now going to buy the Goodyear Assurance tires for only a few dollars more than the Bridgestone's and with a 70,000 mile warranty.

I bought 4 of these tires. Initially they were good. Around 30k miles they began to wear unevenly, eventhough I rotated them on time and as suggested. The noise is even worse. They are extremely loud. This was my first time buying these tires and it will be my last.

So far, I have had much better luck with these than I did the Michelen tires. It still a bit early to tell, but after a winter, I have no complaints.

Tire Pros

Handling, cornering, low noise

Tire Cons

Fuel milage dropped about 3 mpg.

Tires have been on the RX350 for about 10K miles, mostly city, but 20%+/- on highway. Performance has been flawless, no noise, great traction characteristics, etc. In all, equal or superior the Michelins they replaced. Time will tell about treadwear, which was pitiful on the Michelins. Only perceived negative is reduced fuel mileage from 24~25 on the Michelins to 20~22 with the Bridgestones. IF the Bridgestones meet manufacturer claims for treadwear, it's a cost efficient trade-off. Only time will tell, but my wife drives the car 99% of the time and she cannot tell any difference in performance, so that's a real positive when you pay this kind of money for rubber, you know?

Tire Pros

out-performed most, if not all other tires at same price range.

Tire Cons

not good looking.

It's much better than the original GoodYear Eagle RSA, about 2.x more miles; so tread life was very good, but still not as good as Michelin Latitude, however, cornering/traction better than Michelin Latitude, IMO.

Tire Pros

We driven in sleet and when there's snow on the road. Excellent traction at posted speed limit.

Tire Cons

Didn't quite make 65,000 miles, but tire store willing to pro-rate vs warranted miles.

Bought these tires at least twice and they're worth expense. Way better than original Michellin's and dealership wouldn't honor warranty.
