Tire Pros

When new they stick to the road like hot gum.

Tire Cons

Treadwear is unproven at this point. Not enough mileage has been driven to assess properly.

These tires stuck to the road like gum on a hot day when they were new. They've been driven 13,244 miles, at this point the tires are showing some give on quick starts but they still hug the road very well. I'm very pleased with these tires. Comparing them to the original Pirelli's that came with the vehicle these tires are definitely a better product. I'm still waiting to see how long the tread life will last and how long the quiet ride will last. If I had to purchase again at this time I would definitely go with these tires.

Tire Pros

Quiet. Excellent handling characteristics.

Tire Cons

No complaints

I just put these on my Mustang. Before I got out of the store parking lot I could see a huge improvement over the Pirellis. I pulled onto I-85 and could actually hear the engine instead of the tires! I live on winding roads and the handling was awesome to say the least!

Tire Pros

Quiet, very good in the snow. Also good in rain.

Tire Cons

None

The tires are super. I did not think they'd be as good as the Continentals I've used for years. The tires are mounted on my 2007 Mercedes S550, a very heavy car. Anyway, they ride smooth and quiet. I frequently drive the 850 mile trip to our condo in Denver and they run very good. I definitely will buy them again plus they were cheaper than the Continentals I had before.

Tire Cons

Can feel the road.

Everything is good about this tire except for the ride. These tires are on a Lexus LS460L. Bumps in the road seem more pronounced than with the original tires from the factory. I attribute this to the product definition stating "By using the most advanced compounds and tread designs, Yokohama's new YK580 is able to deliver exceptional treadlife. In addition, this tire offers remarkable wet and dry handling and low rolling resistance for improved fuel economy." I believe the tires are stiffer as a result of "exceptional treadlife" and "low rolling resistance." The ride is just as quiet. This tire was a recommendation from my Discount Tire manager. I'm not totally disappointed, but should have gone with the more expensive Michelins.
