Quiet, mileage, traction

Tire Cons

--

Truck came with Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have put on 60000+ miles and they will be replaced before next winter. Most of my miles have been hiway. From the rugged looking tread I expected high noise, but they are as quiet as any tire out there. They have worked well on the back roads of Idaho in mud and snow. The only problem was when my wife ran over a partial coil of roofing nails. Unknown she drove home before the tire went flat. When I pulled the wheel off there were 13 nails in it. Amazing it took so long to deflate. I will be buying a new set when it comes to replacement time

Tire Pros

Bad conditions grip. :-)

Tire Cons

You can feel the knobbies under 30 mph. I don't mind but some people might not like it.

I bought these right after the floods in Colorado just to make sure I could get back and forth to my business on temporary and dirt roads in the Rockies. They've been very good for me regardless of the road conditions which as of this morning were in the minus 10 area and slick. On dry highway the tire behaves normally at 80+ and they aren't a loud tire. I'm pleased with them thus far.

Tire Pros

great tread with reasonable wear/noise properties

Tire Cons

Ripped up on some rocks while off-roading, but not sure I can blame the tires for that

These have been an all around great tire. From off roading in the Colorado wilderness to city driving to highway driving I haven't had any issues. The tread has worn well. I did scrape them up a bit on a winching/rock expedition, but since then they have been fine. I used to swap tires seasonally, but now enjoy these year-round.
