Tire Pros

Fantastic ultra-performance tire for the price.

Tire Cons

Wet traction lags my expectations.

The PSS is a great ultra-performance tire *for the price.* My overall impressions: very-good turn-in and responsiveness, great roadholding, and great road feel and feedback. Ride comfort is also great, and road noise is good. Previously, I've had the Pilot Sport 1 and PS2 (and a dozen other max-performance tires; the PSSs replaced the PS2) and the the PSS is a step down from the PS2: marginally less responsive and lower ultimate traction in the dry, and probably two steps down in wet traction. But then, they're not $550 a pop like the PS2s. These tires are driven very, very hard on a coil-over equipped car (with some track miles).
