For the last 30 years the ATS Group has been one of the international
pioneers in the field of the fascinating development of light alloy
wheels. Original Equipment Manufacture(OEM) is the phrase used to
describe a company, that supplies equipment to other companies, to
incorporate into another product, using the reseller's name. In our
sector, the automotive industry, audi, AMG, DaimlerChrysler, Ford, GM,
Volvo etc. use ATS to make light alloy wheels and crank-shaft-casings
for their vehicles. The completed product is called, for example, an
Audi. The manufacturer of the alloy wheels is ATS. ATS is one of the
biggest wheel manufacturing OEMs in the world. Our production plants,
located in Germany, Poland and the U.S.A., manufacture over a million
wheels per year for DaimlerChrysler, the Ford Group and the Volkswagen
Group. ATS doesn't just manufacture the wheels for the automotive
industry, we also develop them in conjunction with our customers. Our
engineers in the Research and Development Department, developed the
high-tech one and two piece hollow-spoke wheels for such vehicles as
the Audi A8, Porche Turbo, Mercedes S-Class and VW Phaeton. |
