About Our Tire Shop

Get your rims and tires at Discount Tire in west Amarillo, Texas! Find us on the Interstate 40 Frontage Road, between South Soncy Road and South Coulter Street. We are next to Cavender’s Boot City, across the highway from the Westgate Mall.

We offer a complimentary air pressure check and inspection! Plus, our parking lot is large and provides plenty of room for travel trailers and fifth wheels.

From our eight service bays we work on wheel and tire installation, rotation, balancing and repair. We’ll give you and your vehicle the best care and get you back on the road as soon as possible.

Watch your service and help yourself to free Wi-Fi in the waiting area of our showroom.

If you’re hungry, check out Saltgrass Steak House, Logan’s Roadhouse, Lin’s Grand Buffet, and several others. If you prefer to shop, we are a short walk from many stores. For nearby entertainment, we are located near the Regal UA Amarillo Star IMAX & RPX theater.

In my travels across our Country, I have had to stop at different locations. This Amarillo store, being along the Interstate, near motels, was the first reason a few years ago I stopped. Now, knowing the personal working there, if I have a tire issue elsewhere, I have made it a point to stop at this store in Amarillo. Because of the heat and timing of this trip, I had 2 tire issues, a nail and a bubble in the tread. I arrived almost at closing time. They were on it while I was at the desk paying for the services. I left home as it was 116 degrees. So, I carried 4 extra trailer tires, and two were with repair or replace. The GoodYear Endurance tire is a ton better tire than my previously used Carlisles. Thank You guys at the Amarillo store.
