About Our Tire Shop

Get your tires and rims at Discount Tire in South Manchaca serving Austin. We are the closest store to Downtown Austin. Our store is located on West Ben White Boulevard at Gillis Street, just off the U.S. Highway 290. We have three parking lots that provide easy access; come on in!

We’re happy to provide a complimentary air pressure check and inspection. Our positive and friendly experts perform precision work from our four service bays. Our services include wheel and tire installation, rotation, balancing, and repair.

We have a clean store and showroom, plus free Wi-Fi! We will get you back on the road quickly and safely.

We are walking distance from Blazer Tag, Premier High School, and Gold’s Gym, and very close South Austin Hospital, Auto Tek and the YMCA in Oak Hill. Nearby food options include Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, and Taqueria #3 La Escondida.

We gladly accept walk-ins, or you can make an appointment for your convenience!

They were super friendly and fairly quick for being a super busy shop. They gave me a free tire rotation and repaired the flat tire I had due to a nail stuck in the tread. Definitely a trust worthy place overall!

I had a great experience at the Discount Tire on Ben White Blvd. I had made an appointment but arrived about 15 minutes early, and the team was incredibly accommodating and able to take me right away. One of my tires had been losing about two PSI overnight with no visible damage. I had already taken it to another garage, but they couldn’t find the leak (and I’m not convinced they really tried). The team here quickly located the issue, patched the tire free of charge, and even threw in a tire rotation. The service was fast, professional, and genuinely helpful. When I need new tires in the future, I’ll definitely be coming back to this Discount Tire.

I needed a used tire mounted and balanced. My technician was extremely knowledgeable about used tires, brand quality, and the importance of tire balancing maintenance. I was in and out quickly, learning more about used tires than I would have ever thought.
