Your tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) alerts you when your tire pressure drops below safe levels. The clearest signs it’s time to replace tires

Unsafe tread depth: Replace tires at 3/32" of remaining tread. Tread that low reduces wet traction and stopping distance. Learn how to check tread depth.
Tire age: Replace at 6 years of age. For your safety, Discount Tire will not service tires 10 years or older. Learn about tire aging.
Irregular treadwear: Cupping, feathering, inside/outside wear, or flat spots signal alignment, inflation, or rotation issues that may require replacement. See wear patterns. Many stores now offer wheel alignment.
Bulges or bubbles: Sidewall bulges/bubbles can lead to failure and cannot be repaired. Replace immediately.
