Absolute great personnel and service at the Almeda location. My family and other family members have been going here for years. Definitely will continue to recommend other friends to visit. Best location in town. You will not be disappointed. Again, thanks to the entire staff for all your years of service.

Discount Tire (TXH 41) failed to discover tire separation on the left front (LF) tire on two occasions. The first time being on Sept. 5, 2024 and the second instance being on Sept. 30, 2024. We informed them both times that the steering wheel was shaking and pulling to the right. You could see quite a bit of back and forth movement on the when going at slower speeds as well. The movement of the steering wheel simulated a tire being out of balanced or warped. The concern I have is that we went to that store three (3) times and they sent my wife away with a bad tire on her vehicle 2 of the 3 times. Both of those times they stated that they would re-balance and check the tires for separation. After them stating that they didn't see any issues with the tires the second time, we brought the vehicle to our mechanic only for him to confirm that the left front tire was in fact bad. The negligence and lack of care shown by this location could have caused an accident due to a tire blowout. This could have lead to serious bodily harm or even death to my wife, young daughter, or anybody else that would have been involved. It is the store's responsibility to ensure that the proper care, checks, and processes are being followed to ensure the safety of each vehicle that leaves those bays. Customers pay for a service and we expect that service to be completed properly to fruition without any shortcuts being taken. This also calls into question the many other times we brought our vehicles in for servicing and if the servicing was completed correctly. If a tire that was separated was missed twice within a three (3) week period, how can we trust that the proper rotation and balancing of the tires are being completed each time we bring our vehicles in? The lack of attention that's been displayed at this store raises some serious concerns surrounding the safety of the vehicles after being serviced at this location. We put our trust in these stores and staff to ensure that our vehicles (tires) are safe for the road. We expect that the proper checks, precautions, and safety standards are followed. While they did remediate the issue by replacing the bad tire (we went ahead and replaced the entire set) and didn't charge for that specific tire, we will not be going back to this specific store. It took three (3) trips and the manager personally inspecting the tire to get this resolved. The exact words after the manager checked the tire was, "That tire was in really bad shape". This is unacceptable and I truly hope management can sort things out at that location before something serious happens due to their negligence.
