Associates were very friendly and knowledgeable. They said my wait time could be up to an hour, but they had my vehicles done in about 15 minutes later. They were also very detailed in regards to the limitations of my tire and what to look for while inspecting for wear and tear.

It’s hard to just recognize one person, the entire staff was phenomenal. Despite a slight mix up in the tire size I needed, they made it right and were still able to get me out in under an hour with the tire size I needed. The service is always exceptional and because of this I will only buy from Discount Tire.

This is not the first time that I’ve had a negative experience at discount tire, but it will certainly be the last because I am NEVER coming back. I have also begun warning people that I know that going to Discount Tire means standing in a potentially lengthy line, regardless of if the customer has an appointment. Every time I’ve been to any discount tire, I have to stand in line to check in, even though I always have an appointment. There isn’t a way to check in online, there isn’t a separate line, and there isn’t a “take a number” system that would allow people to wait in chairs instead of in line for 20-30 minutes or more!! I had to wait 15-20 minutes in line, but by the time I left the line was 8+ people deep and well over half an hour long. In that line were elderly people, mothers with young children, and people with disabilities! All of whom should have been able to wait in a chair with dignity, not standing in a line. I have complained about this problem with lines before and seen no changes. My suggestion would be to implement a check in tablet or something at the front, allowing people to take a number and then sit comfortably until they are at the “front of the line”. I would also suggest that making an appointment online comes with an “I’m here” option which lets you check in without standing in line. (I checked the “I’m here” option in the confirmation email but I still had to stand in line!?) Until this system changes, I and others I know will gladly pay a slightly higher price for a shop that cares about customer well-being and manages the customer flow better.

The mid Park location in Dallas, Texas is the worst discount tire I’ve ever been to and I usually use discount tire for my vehicles. I waited for over two hours watching other cars come and go while my tires sat on the floor already removed them from the car I brought them this way just sitting there and then when I got angry and went to the desk and told him just to load my stuff up and let me leave. They hurried up and grabbed them and started working on them. I came back with my truck to load them up, and the guy wanted to argue with me. The manager was very disrespectful and I will never go to that store as long as I live.
