Product info:
Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT, LT275 /70 R18 125S E1 RWL

The Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT: the dark horse on a hot streak. The off-road dynamo with on-road manners. This Discoverer AT3 is Cooper's long-wearing, hard-charging flagship all-terrain tire built for those looking to get more from their truck, SUV or CUV when it matters most.

Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT Features

The Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT lays down all-season traction, aggressive off-road performance and durability for towing and hauling alongside its aggressive design and tread pattern.

But what makes the Cooper AT3 so good when the going gets tough?

It's all in the proprietary technology Cooper has packed in to the AT3 XLT, which includes:

  • Cooper's Durable Tread Technology, which helps you haul heavy loads over longer distances and brutal terrain—from a job-site payload to your weekend camping gear.
  • Its Secure-Grip tread pattern promotes all-terrain traction and protection from sharp rocks.
  • Even Wear Arc Technology, which maximizes treadwear and handling on paved roadways.
  • Cooper's Whisper Grooves create a sound buffer that minimizes road noise, vibration and harshness.

The Discoverer AT3 XLT also features other 4x4-based additions, such as stone ejecting ledges and rugged shoulders for enhanced grip when you might have to put your rig in 4-low over soft surfaces such as mud and sand as well as when you need to air down or lock your differential for bouldering.

Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT Treadwear and Warranty

On top of its performance features, Cooper isn't selling the AT3 short on its manufacturer warranty.

At 60,000 miles of coverage for all LT-metric sizes of the AT3 XLT, Cooper is confident this Discoverer won't let you down no matter where your work or adventures take you.

But if you want the best protection for your new set of Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's available, our exclusive Certificates will cover them down to 3/32" of wear.

And in the extremely unlikely event you have a Cooper AT3 fail, you'll get a brand new one if it can't be repaired.

(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order.)

If performance and reliability combined with one of the more competitive price points in the all-terrain tire segment are what you're after, the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT might be the perfect fit.

Had these tires on another truck before and were great. Bought these tires for the current truck and they are horrible. Have balanced them four times and still cannot get the shaking out of them. Removing them soon and going to Michelin tires.

After 1 year still look new, ride great, traction in snow and mud outstanding. Truck feels more planted than OEM Duratecs.

Sidewall strength appears to be weak. A little rolling felt when steering side to side. My Michelins did not do that. It’s an F250 super duty

I bought these before hunting season last fall. Drove them across the USA to go hunting. Drove off road on some pretty nearly stuff. Most guys not driving their truck on these trails. Drove back and daily commuted. They feel a bit heavier, but ride is smooth, traction is excellent in all conditions. Best I’ve had in snow. Tires give my F150 an aggressive stance. These are a size up for a 3/4 ton, but mine is a 1/2 ton. Work well and look good. Only negatives are the slightly heavy feeling and maybe a bit stiff.
