Customer Reviews
OK These Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 are great tires IMHO. I had them on my 2011 Mazda 3 before. Those were 255/35R18. From that experience I got these for my Pontiac Vibe (Matrix) @ 225/50R17. Both were upgrades over the stock wheel sizes. (don't forget to get the right offset of wheels.) I got them for the technical ratings:price ratio. I don't just buy what they have in stock, I look at Tire Rack, Costco, Les Schwab, and Discount Tire and find the specs I want, and then find the cheapest price and make them match. Discount won this round. What is my spec theory? Well it's Highest Tread-wear (500 for these), Hightest Traction (AA), and Highest Temperature (A) and highest speed rating (W), Z at the bare minimum. The last 3 are a must, so basically it's who has the best treadwear with those other specs. Most tires don't have this combo of specs at this price. I don't let salesman tell me what I want, I do the research and find it myself. Who do I trust? Me that's who. It took 4 days to deliver from stock that was in Texas, but that's fine with me. Had the shop in Auburn, WA mount to my aftermarket rims, then I put them on my car myself. I think Cooper Tires are very underrated after having experimented with them. So, I worry they will go out of business, or discontinue a good tire (like these). HA Discontinue Tire..., that would be a good name for a shop. But anyway, I like taking advantage of the lower price of underrated tires. Good job Cooper Tires! Now you know my secrets. Enjoy the review.
Cooper tires good choice.
