Dunlop SP Sport Maxx
The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx performance summer tire offers a balance of wet and dry traction, a quiet ride and the precise handling you’d expect from a quality performance tire. With race-ready performance and reliable summer traction, you should turn to the SP Sport Maxx. Other features include:
- The SP Sport Maxx is ideal for luxury sporty vehicles like coupes and sedans.
- For race-proven braking, accelerating and steering on wet and dry roads, this tire features a sporty directional tread pattern and cutting edge tread compound.
- Thanks to its clever tread design, you’ll experience a smooth, consistent, precise and quiet ride.

- This tire features Dunlop’s optimized blend of silica and a high-structured carbon black tread compound, giving you glue-like grip.
- It also has large independent shoulder blocks for razor sharp steering response.
- This tire is constructed with twin steel belts reinforced by Dunlop’s Jointless Band (JLB) spirally wrapped nylon and a rayon cord casing.
- Built in 19’’-21” diameters, the Sport Maxx fits a range of vehicles and is even the OEM tire on some Ford, Volkswagen, BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Available with run-flat tech, you can travel up to 50 miles at up to 50mph on a flat tire, so you can navigate to safety in the event of catastrophic air loss.
- Dunlop guarantees this tire with a six year Workmanship & Materials Warranty.

Purchased these tires for my wife's car based on her concerns with the OEM Michelin tires slipping on wet pavement all the time. The Dunlop tires work great on her Buick Enclave and have eliminated the problem she had with the Michelin tires.

I got 18,000 miles out of them, but probably should have taken them off sooner. Durability is horrible

This tire came with the X5 BMW 2012. I have only 10K miles on the tires and the front are completely worn and the rear have about another 1 or 2K left on it. I checked the BMW blog to find out if I could replace with non run flats and they have an alternative for the vehicle -Nitto- the front are smaller than the rear but Discount Tire suggested I replace it with a spare that matches the front wheel/tire. As the smaller wheel can run on the back as well as the front. THIS TIRE IS AWFUL- WARNING DO NOT PURCHASE FOR YOUR X5.

As a courier I drive 250+ miles per day. Bought these as they had highest wear rating of all tires available. Price was a a factor and these were modest in price ($155 out the door). Turns out greatest benefit is the comfort and low noise. If the mileage is as rated they will be the least expensive tires I have purchased in many years. Kudos to Discount Tire as they had me finished in 35 minutes.

Very slippery in snow, don't even try. Need to get some chains on the back tires. Dry city driving no problem. Uneven wear despite alignment adjustment. Going with Bridgestone next.
