Falken Wildpeak HT 02

The Wildpeak H/T02 is a rugged, all-season highway terrain tire designed for durability and performance. With excellent highway handling, all-season capability and long-lasting tread life, this is the ideal SUV and light truck tire. Its features include:

  • Falken’s Wildpeak H/T02 is a rugged highway terrain all-season tire for pickups and SUVs.

  • This tire is certified with the Heavy Duty designation for LT sizes, making it an excellent option for heavier working trucks that need to tow or haul.

  • Featuring support for high torque applications, 3D Canyon Sipe Technology stabilizes the shoulders, resisting wear while adding bite for all-season grip.

  • Rigid tread blocks utilize a “support bridge” that delivers tread pattern rigidity, boosting stability and handling while towing or hauling.

  • Enjoy your nice quiet ride thanks to an optimized tread pattern with three variable pitch tread block positions.

  • Get industry leading wet braking performance thanks to four wide circumferential grooves, which reduce the risk of hydroplaning.

  • When the going gets tough, the tough get going with a rugged upper sidewall that protects your tire’s shoulder from roadside or construction site hazards.

  • A silica-enriched compound delivers exceptional wet performance and superior wear life, so you can keep the work going for many seasons to come.

  • Available in 15’’–22’’ wheel and rim sizes, this tire is suitable for a wide variety of SUVs and pickups, including: Chevy Tahoe, Suburban & Silverado, Ford Ranger & F-Series, GMC Yukon, Honda Pilot, Land Rover Defender and more.

Quiet enough for a truck highway tire, mileage stayed the same from previous highway truck tires. Looks the business too, bit of that AT styling with better pavement manners than an AT tire. Main issue is the tread has an annoying habit of picking up small stones on gravel roads/parking lots and when you get back on pavement and up to about 35-40mph the tread blocks loudly fling a stone or two into your wheel wells. Luckily with my Tacoma, they stay in the wells and not ping down the side of the body. Still, I'd recommend them, just FYI on the gravel.

Good replacement tires for my wife's Hyundai Santa Fe, she's very happy with them.

With almost zero experience on wet roads here in Phoenix, AZ, I can't really say for sure how they'd perform in the rain. They are holding up very well in the AZ desert heat (It's a 'dry' heat).
