These are on a '04 Volvo Cross Country XC70 - which I drive like a sports car. Prior to the last 5,000 miles I had 100% confidence in having to hard stop during rain/wet conditions. No tire does well on ice - but my Volvo AWD & these tires gave me confidence in driving during the few Ice events here in NC Piedmont. I have gotten a lot of miles out of this set of tires - and I really should have replaced them 4 months ago. They are great tires.
