It uses a silica compound to enhance grip on snow and ice, and a wide groove tread design that effectively filters water and slush out from the tread area. And for better grip in extreme conditions, this tire can be studded to provide even stronger grip in inclement winter weather. These studs are arranged strategically, so that theyll produce less noise while driving.
