1. One tire has a thumping sound varies with speed. Some times depending on rotation of tires it seems louder!5 2. Wear seems to be faster / lower than expected 3. Traction in snow and wet conditions is excellent! 4. Tire rotation has been done with oil change. Every 5000 miles. 5. This is an imitation of the Michelin Tires tread pattern it doesn’t seem to wear as well as what I was told about the Michelin tires. 6. Will wait until later to make full evaluation. [

Escape
I had originally wanted Michelin Cross/Climate tires, but they don't make them in the size to fit a 2011 Ford Escape. Hankook filled the gap with these which have very similar tread pattern. They work well in rainy conditions. Only problem when parked on gravel driveway for a day or so they tend to pick up large rocks and hold on to them for 10 to 20 feet, possibly depositing the rocks on the paved portion of your driveway.

I will never buy a different type and brand again! These tires literally prevented me from being involved in what could have been an extremely bad accident. The water channeling design allowed my tires to maintain contact and traction so I could respond quickly to a truck hauling a loaded trailer that had hydroplaned and lost control of his truck. I am now a dedicated hanook kinergy tire customer for life!

These are much better than the last tire we had on the same vehicle. They’re reminiscent of a more famous Michelin tread pattern but it seems to be effective.
