Hankook Winter i Cept EVO W310

Hankook designed the I*Cept Evo W310 winter passenger tire to give coupes and small sedans powerful winter traction. This tire uses a special silica compound made for winter performance, and it features an asymmetric tread pattern modeled after a polar bears footprint. The tread provides great traction in inclement winter weather, as it uses 3D sipes to bite into snow and circumferential grooves to remove slush from the contact area. Thanks to these features, the tire satisfies the Rubber Manufacturers Associations requirements for severe snow service. Purchased these winter tires for a turbo-charged VW because they were recommended given my regular tires. They are nice winter tires-- quieter than most that I've had-- and performed well in wet and OK in icy conditions. They were not all that great on anything more than an inch or so of snow. Next time I'll stick with the Blizzaks or similar. I've had these in the past and, while noisier and not as nice handling, they performed much better in snowy winter conditions.

I own a 1997 ford mustang GT I needed to get some snow tires for the winter. I purchased these knowing that i need better traction in the winter, but these tires I feel like I bought summer Drag slicks the way these handle in the snow. no traction in the snow, if I even give my car a little gas to the higher RPM's in RAIN I feel the back slipping around. These for my Vehicle the worst ever and that I bought for winter I haven't been able to drive this winter do to the safety concern with these tires.
