I purchased 2 pairs of tires a year apart. I’m refurbishing a 91 Toyota 4x4. I put lift on it, replaced most of the front-end (bearings, bushings, ball joints, tie-rods, etc) and put in truetracs in the front and back. I’ve taken it off-roading and so far the tires seem to do pretty well. Last winter, I was up in Tahoe and it snowed. The roads were pretty slippery, but the truetracs and tires kept me firmly planted on the road. My only complaint (and it more of an issue of not doing more research) is that the tires I had on before were true 32s. These are closer to 31.5”, which isn’t a big deal, but I lifted the truck up to clear 33s and the gearing would work better for 32-33s. It’s not bad, but if the 33s are actually 32.5s then I probably would have gotten those. By the time these wear out, I might be changing rims. But they’re good for what I’m currently using them for…daily driving: freeway and city with a monthly off-road excursion and may some occasional snow.
