ELIGIBILITY:
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this giveaway and a legal resident of one of the fifty United States and Washington, D.C. This giveaway is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Discount Tire and its affiliates (collectively, “Sponsors”), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
PROMOTION PERIOD
The Shopping Tradeoffs research Sweepstakes (“Promotion”) starts on or about 12:00:01 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) on 8/29/25 and ends at 11:59:00 p.m. MST on 9/5/25 (the “Promotion Period”). Entries must be received before 11:59:00 p.m. MST on 9/5/2025 for the Promotion. Sponsors’ computer shall be the official timekeeper for all matters related to this Promotion. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, fraudulent, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. Each entrant agrees to comply with the terms contained these Official Rules as well as the terms contained in Discount Tire’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which are expressly incorporated into these Official Rules.
ENTRY METHOD
One (1) valid entry per eligible entrant per Promotion Period. To enter, please provide your email address, and tire purchasing tradeoff responses on the survey link that was emailed to you.
All entries are subject to verification of eligibility before a prize can be awarded. If the entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements listed above his or her entry is automatically void. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete or inaccurate entries. Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures in the entry process, for example without limitation, a website crash. Entrants are prohibited from assigning, substituting, or transferring their interest in an entry or a prize won through a winning entry.
PRIZES
Each prize offered is listed with its Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”). There will be ten (10) Thirty Dollar (USD $30) gift cards of your choosing (each a “Prize”) awarded to the Winners. Prize is subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by issuer. Restrictions may apply. Prize must be redeemed by any date set forth by the issuer.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
On or about September 10th, 2025, ten (10) potential winners (each a “Winner”) will be selected in a random drawing by representatives of Sponsors from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period (the “Drawing”). Answers to the questions on this entry form do not affect chances of winning. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.
Each potential winner is subject to verification and compliance with these Official Rules. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder for the email address. “Authorized account holder” means the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by the Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organizations (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or Winner and may refuse to award a Prize to a person who is not eligible or has violated a rule, gained unfair advantage in thePromotion, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. If a winner is found to be ineligible or disqualified for any reason, an alternative winner will be selected from a separate random drawing. To receive a copy of the name of the Winners, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by September 22nd, 2025 to Discount Tire, 20225 N Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85255.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
On or before September 10th, 2025, Sponsors will attempt to notify potential Winner(s) by email. Neither the Sponsors nor any other entity shall have any responsibility or liability for failure to provide notice, including but not limited to, due to a participant’s failure to provide accurate or correct contact information, notices lost in transfer, or notices diverted to spam, junk, promotion or other email folders. If a winner is unreachable after five (5) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected at random from the pool of eligible entrants. If Sponsor(s) cannot find an eligible Winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded. Each potential Winner may be required to furnish proof of eligibility, including but not limited to proof of identification.
PUBLICITY RELEASE
Subject to applicable law, the Winner(s) irrevocably grants the Sponsors and each of their licensees, and its and their successors, assigns and sub-licensees the right and permission to use their name, voice, likeness and/or biographical material for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion, in all forms of media and by all manners (now and hereafter known), and on and in connection with related products, services, advertising and promotional materials (now known or hereafter developed), worldwide, in perpetuity, without any obligation, notice or consideration except for the awarding of the Prize to the winner. Entrants agree not to issue any publicity concerning the Sponsors.
CONDITIONS:
Sponsors reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. Entrants further grant to Sponsors the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Promotion.
By completing this registration and pressing “submit,” you are giving Sponsors permission to contact you via telephone, SMS/ text message, fax, email or mail at the address(es) number(s) provided, despite any inclusion of your name on a do not call/do not contact registry or list.
By clicking “submit” you expressly authorize Discount Tire to call me or send you recorded messages or SMS/text messages about their products using automated technology to your telephone/cellular number you entered above.
By participating in the Promotion, the entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless the Sponsors, their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents from any and all liability for any claims, injuries, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising out of or relating to, directly or indirectly, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, participation in any Promotion or prize use related activity, or participation in this Promotion.
Sponsors are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or god.
The Winner is unofficial until they have accepted the prize via phone or email. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
Sponsors reserve the right to change the rules at any time.
ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF FREE ENTRY
No purchase, donation, or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this Promotion. A purchase, donation, or payment will not increase an entrant’s chance of winning. To be
automatically entered into the Promotion via an alternative method of free entry, you may
request an entry form from [email protected]. All entries must be received before the end of the Promotion Period in order to be considered for the Drawing.
CONSENT TO DATA COLLECTION AND USE:
By entering the Promotion, entrants consent to Sponsors’ collection and use of the personal information entrant provides. Entrants may on occasion receive informational, marketing, or promotional emails from Sponsor. Entrants can opt out of such emails by following the instructions contained therein.
