I went to a competitor first (Belle Tire), I was heading out of state for a family vacation the next day, and had a tire that was losing air. I took it to a nearby BT, was told I could stay with it, it would only take 10 mins to assess. An hour later, I had eyes on the car, it had not been moved, so I inquired. Another 15 mins passed, a guy from the garage came out, whispered to the desk guy, left and I was called up. They said it was plugged, all fixed, good to go. I was a little suspicious of their activity, from their body language to the fact that it did not appear the car had been moved. Earlier they said if I needed new tires, they would have to be ordered. So with a trip starting the next day had to make some quick decisions on our trip that was to start the next day (IN to NC). I had to take their word for it. Well, of course when we arrived in NC, it was running low again. So I made an appointment at Discount Tire. They were quick to diagnose the leak, showed me where, had the tire in stock - and also told me the tire had never been patched, but did appear to have just had the tire use a fix-a-flat and had plenty of liquid inside the tire, not good. They asked if I had, did not, knew nothing about it, only suspected BT did it, thus the whispering, and the subsequent lying. Fortunately Discount Tire set me up with a new pair, rotated them, and all are good since then. Nice work by the fine team in NC.

EXTREMELY GOOD IN SNOW BUT EXTREMELY LOUD
When I went into DT, I told my representative that we haul a travel trailer with our car and that we especially needed tires that would hold steady in rain. These tires have been the best! A couple of weeks back I got caught in the worst thunder storm I had ever seen. Even the tractor trailers were stopping. Yet these tires kept me safe so I could stop, too. Then, last week, while hauling, we went through another heavy rain. Again, the tires performed beautifully. We couldn't be more satisfied.
