The Firestone Transforce AT2 is a second generation on/off-road commercial traction light truck tire made for heavy duty performance both on and off the beaten path.

Not only does this tire perform both off-road and on the highway, it also provides traction in both dry and wet or winter conditions such as snow.
This all-terrain tire utilizes some excellent tire design features to provide you with long-lasting durability, wear and performance. Traction is delivered using its open shoulder design and independent tread blocks while also offering hydroplaning resistance with deep, circumferential grooves. Deep tread depth and siping gives this tire a bite to keep your wheels on the road, even in snow.
Traction and rough road conditions aren’t a problem with a built in chip and tear-resistant compound and tire tread pattern that yields an innovative tread to road contact footprint.
With two high tensile steel belts that support the tread area, a two ply body casing made with polyester cord to improve ride quality, and a nylon reinforcement ply that maintains the tire shape and makes highway speed performance easy, the Firestone Transforce AT2 is an all around power house all-terrain tire option.

Second set on my 06 Ram dually. First set 70000 trouble free miles. Second set at 9000 and look and perform as new. Highly recommend.
Ram 2500
These perform well on snow and ice as well as on highway and dirt roads. As a sign shop in NW Montana, I drive all over the place (with and without trailers) in just about every condition for sign installations. These tires perform better than other tires without the hefty price tag. I haven’t put many miles on them yet, but like them so far. I gave “tread life” a 5 star because I had to enter something. Will try to report back. I’ve only had them a couple of months.
