It starts with a wear-resistant, silica-polymer compound formulated to withstand the torque from larger engines to encourage longer tread life. A directional tread pattern pushes water away from the tread to increase grip in wet, slushy conditions. Plus, high-density, interlocked sipes support shoulder stiffness for better cornering and control.
Additionally, this tire has received the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMS) rating, which indicates its capabilities in snow and winter weather conditions.
