Dynapro AT2 Xtreme Customer Reviews
215/85 R15, Load Range E tires on a 1993 Dodge W350 Dually. My truck is not driven many miles annually and won't see much dirt, but I got this tread design over a strictly highway tire so when it does hit the dirt it, I have better traction. These Hankook Dynapro AT2 Extreme tires are surprisingly good and quiet on the highway, but to be fair my truck, has a 5.9 Cummins, if you know, you know. These tires have good wet traction and they are great on gravel roads and slightly loose soil. The deep tread design and spacing does pick up and throw a lot of little rocks. After driving on loose gravel and when I get to pavement, I stop remove any stuck rocks, mostly for Good Karma points because I don't have mud flaps. I primarily use my truck to haul firewood and these Hankooks perform well at max pressure (80 psi) when my gross vehicle weight was around 8000 lbs. That may not seem like a lot of weight considering most late model, dually, one ton trucks weigh over 8000 lbs empty. You have to remember my tires are 215's, which are incredibly skinny by today's standards. Because my truck is driven such few miles annually, I initially considered a tire which was less expensive and has a similar tread pattern. The problem was there were ZERO reviews on that other tire but the Hankook Dynapro AT2 Extreme tires had 150 Reviews and a 4.6 Star Rating. I know people who swear by that other brand of tires but I have no experience with them. I highly recommend you write a review on your tire purchase because customers like me greatly appreciate it and rely on feedback to make informed decisions.
Love these on my Honda CRV. We live in the mountains and get snow in the winter. These run great
