Michelin CrossClimate2

Outfit your vehicle with the Michelin CrossClimate2 235/65R18 106V SL BSW, a premium all-season tire with 3PMSF severe-snow capability for drivers who want confident wet braking, dry-road control, winter traction, and a quiet touring ride from one tire. This 235/65R18 CrossClimate2 is a popular comfort-focused fitment for select Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, Subaru Ascent, Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, Mazda CX-90 models, plus similar vehicles using 18-inch wheels.

Why choose the Michelin CrossClimate2 in 235/65R18?

  • Built for family crossovers, small SUVs, minivans, and all-weather commuters: The 106V SL rating matches standard-load applications where ride comfort, year-round traction, and efficiency matter.

  • Severe-snow rated all-season traction: The CrossClimate2 carries the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol, giving shoppers a strong year-round option for rain, dry highways, cold mornings, and light to moderate winter driving.

  • Confident wet and dry stopping: Michelin engineered the CrossClimate2 for reliable braking in changing weather, including wet pavement performance as the tire wears.

  • Directional V-shaped tread design: The tread pattern helps move water and slush through the contact patch while supporting stable handling and everyday comfort.

  • Touring comfort for daily miles: This tire is a strong match for commuters, family vehicles, road-trip SUVs, and EV or hybrid drivers who want a planted, quiet ride without switching to a dedicated winter tire.

I went into Discount and ordered a different brand of tire. The salesman asked me to compare the ratings of the Michelin Cross Country to my chosen brand. I am in the Mountains of Colorado until November, then in the heat of Arizona until the end of April so I need a tire that can tolerate snow and rain and extreme heat. The Michelin ratings over-powered my chosen brand so I went with Michelin. I am happy the salesman presented the options side-by-side so I could make an informed decision.

Even with all the sound attenuation Lexus builds into my car these tires are noisy at any speed. These tires were the ones the Discount Tire Salesman recommended and said they would make minimal noise. Having used Michelin tires on all my cars, trucks and motorcycles for years I expected the quality, durability and quiet reliability that has made them my choice for years. I am very dissatisfied and will be looking elsewhere for further purchases.
