A good on-road all-terrain tire, but they do share some of the classic characteristics of off-road tires. Tires are noticeably heavier than OEM or all-season options. Fuel economy dropped by about 3 mpg compared to Firestone Destinations that were on it before. Car feels a little "floaty" at recommended pressures without multiple passengers or cargo loaded; maybe drop a couple psi for a more comfortable ride. Car sat about 1/2" higher due to tread depth when new compared to all-seasons. Have not used them in snow.
These tires are much better for Texas driving than the Toyo A/T III. I took a road trip from Houston Texas to Death Valley California with lots of off roading and these tires did great. Wet and dry traction is great and they’re very comfortable and quite.
The best tires I’ve ever had, hands down. I live at a ski resort with 150+” of snow each season. These handle snowy mountain roads like a dream. Much quieter than expected for an all-terrain tire.
