Nitto Recon Grappler AT

The Nitto Recon Grappler AT is the tire for off-road enthusiasts who need on-road comfort, too.

Nitto Recon Grappler AT Features

The latest in ground breaking all terrain innovations, the Recon Grappler AT is an all-terrain light truck and SUV tire that pushes the boundaries of aesthetics and performance.

With its thick, aggressive sidewall lugs, attractive tread pattern, bold assertive dual sidewall design and wide assortment of hard to find sizes, this tire takes the legendary performance of the Terra Grappler G2 to new heights.

This all-terrain light truck tire comes in the most in-demand LT and high flotation sizes and is suitable for the most popular makes and models of both stock and lifted vehicles, including Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Gladiator, Chevy Colorado, Chevy Silverado 1500-3500, Ford F150, 250 and 350, Ram 1500-3500, Ford Bronco, Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier, GMC Sierra 1500-3500, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL and so many more.

Other performance features of the Recon Grappler A/T include:

  • Zigzag main and shoulder grooves deliver biting edges for powerful off-road grip.
  • Staggered shoulder lugs ensure forward-moving grip in soft surfaces like mud and sand.
  • Improved handling, stability and appearance in wet and dry conditions are provided by the large shoulder and tread blocks with optimized siping.
  • Reinforced block foundation improves tread block rigidity, reducing flex for stable dry performance
  • Wide and narrow grooves reduce noise levels and increase traction performance

Nitto Recon Grappler AT Treadwear and Warranty

Nitto offers a Limited Warranty for all LT tires purchased and used in the United States. It covers tires to the first 1/32” treadwear or less than 25% total wear in eligible tires with a free replacement, including mounting and balancing costs. More than 25% wear will be prorated for eligible tires.

As an added confidence booster, the Recon Grappler AT is backed by a 55,000-mile warranty.

However, if you want extra coverage, you can add our exclusive Certificates, which will protect your Nitto tires all the way down to 3/32” of tread. If we can’t safely repair your covered tire, we’ll give you a new replacement.

(You can add our Certificate coverage in your cart!)

With its improved design and aggressive all terrain capabilities, the Nitto Recon Grappler A/T is the go to on and off-road tire.

oem superduty tires are a joke.. i upgraded my wheels and tires.. so far i am very pleased but that's coming from the skinny oem tires ford installs.. the taller sidewalk from the 33x12.5 allows for a softer ride.. the increased width give me more traction and bite.. for a heavy duty pickup with 1000+ lbft. this is especially nice..

These tires have exceeded expectations in every way. I really like the narrow, but tall profile, staying within fender wells, and not rubbing in turns while still giving the full height of 35's

If you are looking for a beefy tire for large wheels (24") then its really only one of a few options. The Nitto Terra Grappler were a way more superior tire for this application. It was way quieter, lasted longer, etc. This is my 2nd set of these Recon Grapplers and am only running them due to option limitations on the size I want. Nitto should have never changed the good thing going on the Terra Grappler and Terra Grappler G2 (I have run those on 3 different Yukon Denali's with 24" wheels with far better results).

Only put about 10,000 miles on the tires before I traded my truck. Liked the tires while I had them. Only thing worth noting: I bought these to replace a set of Ridge Grapplers (which I loved). Bought them because they had more of a street-style tread and were supposed to be quieter. The Ridge Grapplers were actually significantly quieter than the Recons. That was really the only negative.
