This tire is marginal on ice and snow. Maybe if my tire was more narrow it might do better
I have used Pirelli tires with various cars over decades of driving and like them more than Michelin and Continental. Good ride; good feel of the road; excellent fuel economy; long life; and even though not as quiet as they used to be, they are still softer on the ears than the others. The only downside to using these tires is that Discount Tires usually does not stock them in my area. So, when one has a flat that cannot be patched, it's a day or 2 before it can be replaced.
These are solid tires that have good longevity and seem to be a good value for the price. They are not the most responsive tires, but that's not what these tires are made for, so I can't fault them for this.
