Excellent experience all around. My first visit, won’t be my last.

Finding the best tires for my family's vehicles and having them installed with Discount Tire has been a consistently positive experience. Setting up the appointment, ( and changing it if needed ) is a simple process. Discount Tire's staff communicates effectively. Prices are good and their various specials and military discount is greatly appreciated! After having new tires put on my wife's car at our first pleasant tire replacement experience with Discount Tire, I decided right then that I would bring my truck there once it needed new tires.. and I was not disappointed. I had my spare tire in use since I'd gotten a flat tire a couple days prior to my install appointment. After I notified the Discount Tire staff that the spare tire was installed and that they could simply throw the spare into the bed of my truck after they put the new tires on, they surprised me by returning the spare tire back to it's normal storage location under the truck bed. ( Thank you! ) I'm very pleased with my second experience with Discount Tire - both the website and the Pooler, GA store. We will continue to bring our family's vehicles to Discount Tire and heartily recommend them to our family, friends and coworkers.
Quick Trip getting new tires
Very happy with service!
Very unprofessional store manager! I had 2 new front tires installed less than 6 months ago. Ever since then, my front passenger tire started slowly leaking air, so I kept putting air. I ended up having to take my car back to them less than 3 months later because my front driver side TPMS was missing, according to my car. So I took it back to Discount Tire to be replaced since it had only gone missing after I had Discount Tire change my tires. At this time, I mentioned my front passenger tire leaking air. He said they’d look at it and that they check tire pressure and fill all of the tires as a standard. When they were done, they told me they couldn’t see anything with the front passenger tire so they filled it up. It continued to slowly leak air but got worse recently so I dropped it back off to them and asked them to put air in the rest of the tires too. I was then told again that it is standard of them to check and fill tires as needed. I get a call from Ben (store manager at this time) and he tells me that I have a CRACKED rim and it’s cracked in 2 places, almost directly across from each other. I ask how this happens, I’m told it could’ve been a pothole or a curb. I then mention that I’m not sure if this is just coincidence or not but my tire started leaking after they installed the new tires. He then tells me that it could’ve been cracked before and it started leaking because they broke the seal when changing the tires, but it’s not from the tire changer. So I asked, if this is the case and it was cracked before, why would they not tell me when they took the tire off to change it since Ben said the only way to see it would be to take the tire off (which they had to do to put on the new tire). I go to pick up my car and ask them to show me where the cracks are. I then ask again how this happened because I’m very meticulous about my car. He again tells me a pothole or curb but it’s not because of the tire changer, it’s nearly impossible and that he would have to throw my rim off of a roof for this to happen. My sister then asks him if he thinks that I’m driving my car off the roof for this to happen. His response was, “Yeah. Maybe.” And began looking away from me and my sister and ignoring me, but continued to argue with my sister to tell her she needs to do her research because it definitely wasn’t the tire changer. Ben then goes to get my keys and TRIES TO HAND MY KEYS TO SOMEONE ELSE. As I start to drive away, I notice that the tire on the cracked rim is overinflated and they didn’t put any air in the rest of my tires. Which could potentially be back for a cracked rim as too much air can create excess pressure to worsen the crack. I went back to find Ben to have them correct the pressures, but he was no where to be found.
Excellent customer service! Free tire repair is a great service to offer. We’ll be back based solely on excellent customer service.
Was in a pinch driving from Georgia to Indiana and blew a flat. They had the tire & it didn’t need to be ordered which was a huge help. Very friendly & helpful. There was quite a bit of a wait, we waited almost 4 hours but we made it home safe. Thank you!
