My second and third experience with DT was at this store. I needed tires discounted from high end wheels and new tires (already purchased elsewhere) mounted and balanced. I knew from my first experience at a Chesterfield Co location the techs would not damage my wheels. Each and every time all staff were polite and professional and my wheels were well taken care of and accurately balanced. I trust DT to handle my wheel and tire needs!

I have had several frustrating experiences at a national big box store (blue sign not red), in contrast to positive experiences at Discount Tire. The cleanliness of the showroom and service area, as well as the quality of work and attention to detail, are important factors to me. Proper torque specifications are crucial for ensuring safety and Discount tire notes them on the receipt, unlike the blue store who uses an impact wrench to a point the studs are stripped or broken. Discount Tire is my go to place for tires.

This is a great store, I've been helped here on 2 occasions in 2024 by 3 different employees. The employees seem to like working there which is important to me. My first visit was an appointment to install 1 set of tires purchased thru Discount Tire. Everything was installed properly and I was satisfied (I am have been a mechanic for 15 years, I just don't have a tire machine in my shop). My second visit was a walk in/waiter and an accurate wait time was quoted. I had my tires re-balanced on a different vehicle (not the tires I purchased with them) and they re-balanced great. I'll be coming back for future needs. I recommend Discount Tire to everyone.

I really like this Discount Tire in Mechanicsville. All of the Technicians and staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I feel very comfortable taking my car there for service. Especially there website where I can make appts, and buy what I need ahead of time for my specific car. It keeps track of mileage and maintenance needs. Highly recommend this location for service.
