I have been a customer at the Mentor, OH store for several years and have always been impressed with the knowledgeable staff, their courtesy, and professionalism.

I ordered tires at a great price on Tire Rack and 3 days later I was driving on them, thanks to Discount Tire's incredibly fast service. My appointment was for Thursday morning so I dropped the car off at 5pm Wednesday and before I made it home my car was already ready for pick up (about 30 minutes later). That is unbeatable service if you ask me.

Great store and great service when it is your turn! Please call ahead to ask if they are on schedule. If not, ask how far behind they are, so you are not waiting a long time before your car is serviced!

I expected my tires to have been pre-mounted on my wheels, balanced, and ready to be picked up when I arrived at the store promptly on time. I had previously specified in my online sales order notes that I would not be having them installed at the time of pickup, as they were summer tires. They were not ready when I arrived and I had to come back 45 minutes later to pick them up after they were assembled. If this experience of having to return again after first arriving at the store to pick them up was as intended, that should have been made clear during the online ordering process, but it was not. The staff were courteous and eventually provided the assembled products but I had to leave the store and return 45 minutes later which does not make sense since no installation was required - it was just a pickup of previously ordered wheels and tires. The expectation for them to have been mounted and ready to be picked up at the scheduled time is not unreasonable and it effected my overall perception of the store. In the end, I was taken care of, and the staff were quite accomodating, but I should not have had to return a second time. I would recommend this store but I would also strongly suggest that you call and speak to someone first before coming into the store to make sure that your expectations are met.

Had an appointment and the vehicle never went into a bay for over 3 hours. Having already paid, it appears that they preferred to make their money with walk ins.
