DWS+ tires under a tesla model S.. i would not recommend these tires for an ev car. i had them many times over on SUVs and other cars..
I’ve only got about 2500 miles on them so use that in your decision making. One thing about these tires is the flattening that occurs if you don’t drive it every day. It usually “rounds” out when you take it on a short drive but it makes you wonder “what’s wrong with my car”? When it is cold/er (Montana vehicle) the tire rounding out takes much longer which makes sense. Just something to be weary of. I am more accustomed to the Continental ContiPro Contact tire for my VW Arteon. Better ride, less noise and far superior cornering. These were however $400 dollars less and I went for them. As I usually say “go with what you know” and that has never been more poignant than with these tires. I’d rate them at a solid 3-3.25 overall rating given the above measures and or parameters. Manufacturer note: I did have these tires on my older VW CC and remember a much higher rating for tread life/milage ratings. The same goes for the ContiPro Contact as well. The price per tire has gone up precipitately or capriciously perhaps due to global demand/s of materials and or shipping expenses. It would be my hope for buyers out there that you would reverse those costs when the stresses have subsided. I am also very certain there will be a justification for not doing so claiming market balance or something like that, but I find it funny when large highly profitable companies (CT’s overall profitability is up by 13.6% in the first half of FY ‘26 for instance) raise their prices due to “global economic conditions” but never seem to pass the savings on once those pressures have subsided. Be a leader, not just in tires.
Very suitable for my EV
