My last set of cooper tires was the pro touring. An excellent tire. I replaced these with the Pro Control series because the Cooper pro touring tire had been discontinued. The only reason something is discontinued is its a lousy product, too costly to produce, or in the Cooper Pro touring situation I believe was too good of a tire. The Cooper pro touring tires were all worn out when I replaced them. They wore even no cupping and the tread was about 1/16" deep and as quiet as the day they were put on. i had to have i tire replaced because it had a piece of metal in it and and i replaced with the same as the other 3. i still have the tire that was taken off which means I can only attest to the other tires being replaced at 83,000 miles. These tires I have now the Pro Control are very good but in my opinion the pro touring was the best. I check the air pressure every 5,000 miles and rotate these every 7,000 miles not changing sides but going front to back and back to front. The tires I took off two sets ago were Cooper Arizonian I drove those 68,000 miles but they looked almost new when I bought the car used. Iv'e owned this car since 2017 and have never had it lined up. I've been afraid to
