Cobra
I like these tires a lot. I first ran them on a 1995 Mustang for autocross and track use. Being a more performance-oriented tire, I was looking for pretty good cornering grip and decent life. These were my first 200tw performance tire, in a 315/30/18 paired with 18x11 wheels. I was coming from a set of 275/35/18 Nexen All-Seasons...so the difference in grip was astronomical! I loved them and they survived a season of autocross and a few track days with no issue. I had 2 or 3 of those autocross days in the rain and was surprised to place much higher than more experienced competitors I was usually trailing in the dry...these tires just do better in damp conditions than other performance summer tires (that's not to say they're GREAT in the wet...they aren't designed to be. But we push cars a lot harder on an autocross course than the average driver EVER does on the street, so I'd consider them very safe when tread depth is in a reasonable range). My family and I then built a budget endurance racecar out of a 2011 Mustang V6. Based on how they held up under autocross/track conditions on the 95 Mustang, I chose these tires (in 315/30/18 on 18x11 wheels) again. And again. And again. And again. I think we've put 6 or 7 sets of these on that car now. We love them, especially the amount of grip you get for the tire life and price. They've done 12 hours straight at Daytona and still had 1/2 their tread left. After 15 hours at Hallett, they were pretty done for as far as racing goes, but that's a lot of time in 100* weather on a single set. The 95 Mustang has gone on the bigger and faster tires. I was running 315/30/18 Yokohama A052 on 18x12 wheels and I'm now running 345/30/18 Vitour P1s on the same 18x12. But the Falken RT615k+ still holds a special spot for me and it's still our tire of choice for endurance racing the 2011 Mustang. When I was shopping for my new car, a Factory Five Mk1 Roadster (replica of a 1965 427 Cobra), I decided I wanted something that could offer "good" grip and "decent" life. This car isn't a daily driver and more street oriented tires like all-seasons would be more likely to age out than to wear out. So I might as well get something that wears faster, but grips better. I'm not expecting to get more than 10-12k miles on these tires, which is more than the car is likely to see in the next 2-3 years. Since the car doesn't have a roof/top, it won't be (intentionally) driven in the rain, snow, or ice. But having these tires makes me feel better on the rare occasion that the Mustang is down and I still want to go autocrossing. I decided to pick up a set of these and have them installed at the local Discount Tire. Their prices were very competitive and they got me in and out quickly. The car likes them a LOT more than the 23 year old tires that came off. Taking off, it just hooks and goes, no excessive spinning...unless I want some excessive spinning, of course!
CLA45 AMG
Great bang for the buck autoX/track tire. Decided to give these a try after my Cup 2 connects needing replacing and was pretty happy with em. They definitely aren't quite as sticky as the Cup 2s, but for a $100 less per tire what would you expect.
Miata
Perfectly suited to my driving...
Corvette
Solid HPDE tire if you value durability and longevity over absolute performance. They have great grip and predictability at the limit and warm up super quickly, but they get greasy after a few sessions in the heat - that's my main complaint. Other than that, it's been a great tire, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a tire they can use on the track and as a daily.
911
Great tires, love 'em on my old Porsche 911 C2 Coupe.
