I have purchased 3 sets of these tires. I run the heavy duty version on my sprinter van and use it for towing. I work a lot in the mountains and they do well in the North Carolina mountains. Great traction for 2wd when driving on our land when its wet out. Even when they were almost worn out I was still able to get enough traction to make it up a slick grassy/muddy hill. I run the standard on my 2009 Tahoe for off-road use when working our land. I also use it for daily driving and towing. They hold up well and perform great. Out of every tire that I have run, especially for towing, these have held up the best. My first set lasted 55 to 60k miles. Past tires, I was lucky to get 30k. These are the only tires I buy now for my work vehicles.
I drive about 15% off road in the oilfield.
These tires look great, I love the extra tread coming down onto the sidewalls, they look tough. I haven't driven a lot of miles on them but so far I've really enjoyed them and they've performed well. I haven't taken them off-road but I suspect they would will perform well. I will definitely buy them again or the newer version of them when it's time for a new set. P.S. I also have an older set of them on a second vehicle that came with the car, the tread is a lot lower but they still perform really well, and they look good on a Subi too :)
