This survey reminds me of getting old tires from AT. I’m a low mileage driver who changes tires due to age. I was given 2 year old tires that are 2 years closer to a change. The clerk said tires should be changed at 6 years. I’m already 3 years towards this date after 1 year. The clerk said he gets whatever they send him from the warehouse and has no control over this age. He has received tires 11 years old from the warehouse. When do you suggest the customer should replace the 11 year old tires he just bought? This customer should be told his new tires should have been replaced 5 years ago.
This survey reminded me replacing tires due to age is a joke. The “new” tires are already 2 years old and the dealer will say they need to be replaced soon. ;)

We bought the new tires because the old tires were original and were nine years old. The “new” tires were already two years old so they will age out two years sooner. The car is low milage use so we expect the “new” tires to be changed for age also.
