Works good on beach sand, rocky trails like Potts Mtn, & in heavy rain. They are louder on road than Nitto's previously owned, but in one sound frequency only. Not loud at all but a hum at certain frequencies. Not a bother to me but it is there.
Was able to drive on the beach in Florida with sand up to the center cap of the 20inch rims. No issue at all even when stopping to let other trucks get traction. They have performed great in snow as well.
Awesome tires. Have driven over snow this past winter. Excellent traction. 3-peak rating is one reason I bought these. Will buy again.
Great tire for smooth ride confident handling and great traction
Great off road tires. Very quiet tire for street use. Now if you go from a street/hwy tire to this, then expect some fuel mileage loss. I went from 14 mpg city to 13 mpg city. And from 20 mpg hwy to 17 mpg hwy. They are heavy tires , hence the fuel loss. Over all these are fantastic tires. I have only put 6k miles on these tires but seems like they may go 60k. My last Goodyear hwy tires went 60k.
