I had ordered new lug nuts, size 11, but was informed that the Rancho San Diego store only had 12 in stock. They were placed on the vehicle, even though they are a little larger. I was told that the 11 were be ordered. I even returned to the store and was informed; they would be ordered and sent to the store. As you can guess, I never got the smaller lug nuts. I like the tires, but will go to another store in the future
Great handling Tires, dry or wet conditions. may go with something with a little more tread Life next time. You can’t have both, but these are excellent performance Tires.
Rough ride and ride noise.
The Pirelli is doing better so far than the Continental it replaced in ride comfort, noise, wet and dry traction. I had 38k on the Conti and could have gone over 40k miles past its tread life but have to replace it for safety ready for the coming wet season. I'm hoping this Pirelli will deliver close or better than its tread life.
Just today the left front tire developed a 1/2 inch crack in the sidewall near the tread at 40 mph. Went flat instantly. Not repairable. No sign that I hit anything, just a radial split in the sidewall.
