Tesla Model 3 Tire FAQs
Depending on its year model and trim level, the Tesla Model 3 has a range of OE tire options, including Continental ProContact RX T1 Contisilent, the Michelin Primacy AC, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S AC, the Pirelli P Zero PZ4 Sport and the Hankook Kinergy GT H436.
Its OE tire sizes include 235/45R18 tires, 235/40R19 tires, 235/35R20 tires and 245/35R20 tires.
How long your Tesla Model 3 tires last will vary based on the type of tires you have, as well as where and how you drive. With mileage warranties ranging from 25,000 to 85,000 miles, you can effectively choose the Model 3 tires that meet your driving needs while providing the tread life you’re hoping for.
Keep in mind, due to the extra weight of their battery packs and the instantaneous torque put down through their tires, most Model 3s will go through their tires quicker than a standard ICE vehicle. That said, regular tire maintenance (IE monthly air checks and rotations every 6,000 miles) will help extend the tread life of your Model 3 tires.
Schedule your appointment today!Tesla Model 3 tires can range in cost from $95 to $400+, depending on the size and type of tire you want on your Model 3. Whether you’re after Track Mode-level power or range-extending eco-friendly design, we guarantee the lowest prices on all our Model 3 tires. Plus, we’ve always got great ways to save.
Check out our Tesla Model 3 tire Deals! Some Teslas come equipped with Tesla-specific tires that feature unique characteristics like foam embedded inside the tire to improve ride quality. That said, as long as the load carrying capacity, speed rating and tire size are appropriate for your Model 3, any tire can be equipped on your Tesla.
In fact, many of our Tesla-driving customers report longer tire life, improved battery range, quieter rides and more responsive grip/performance when going with a set of aftermarket Tesla replacement tires rather than the OE-specific options!
