Before buying tires online, we recommend you sign into or create an online account. It lets you review orders, manage appointments and access instant, online-only tire deals! It's free and only takes a moment to set up.
Your vehicle's details
First, you'll need to tell us the basic details of your vehicle in what we refer to as "fitment". Here's the info we'll need to know:
- Year
- Make
- Model
- Vehicle trim level
- Original Equipment (OE) tire size
Often called a sub-model or an options package, vehicle trim refers to the optional features or equipment the vehicle comes with. Popular trim names include Sport, Hybrid, TRD, SE and LX.
Different trim levels may include larger wheel and tire sizes, alternative wheel construction types, enhanced suspension and other features impacting which tires fit your vehicle.

Knowing your vehicle's OE tire size ensures that any optional sizes we show you will fit safely and meet your vehicle's load-carrying capacity and speed rating requirements.
Now you might be wondering where to find your tire size. It's easy. You can find your tire size on your tire sidewall or on the door placard on the driver's side door jamb.

Book your installation appointment
After you've picked out your new tires online, you can purchase them and book your installation appointment during your online checkout.
It's easy! In your cart, confirm your closest Discount Tire store and select the appointment that fits your schedule. Bonus: when you buy your tires and book an appointment online, you'll enjoy a fast, convenient tire installation that equates to a shorter in-store visit!
When it's time for your tire installation appointment, we recommend arriving 10 – 15 minutes early to get checked in. Then our friendly technicians will outfit your ride with your new tires.
And don't forget: your tire purchase includes select free services— AKA Life of Tire Maintenance— including rotations and balancing, and even tire air pressure checks! These services and more are all available to you when you stop by any of our stores, but we recommend you save time and schedule an appointment.
Certificate for Repair, Refund or Replacement
For a small additional fee when you buy your tires, you can protect your purchase with Certificates for Repair, Refund or Replacement!
If a tire covered by the Certificate fails due to a nonrepairable road hazard or manufacturer defect, has 3/32" and above of tread depth remaining across the tire, and it's been less than 3 years from the date of purchase, Discount Tire will give a refund of the full purchase price, together with the applicable sales tax and give you the option to purchase a replacement tire at the refund price, with the payment of any applicable sales tax. There is no prorating, no disqualification for any reason such as run-on damage and no mileage adjustment.
If you are not ready to buy Certificates at the time you buy your tires, we allow up to 30 days from the tire purchase date to buy them. We'll email you a reminder or you can stop by or call your neighborhood Discount Tire store and we'll get you taken care of.
