2023 Tesla Model X Long Range Tires

Every Tesla Model X comes with staggered tires and has either 20-inch tires or 22-inch tires, with sizes including:

• 255/45R20 front tires and 275/45R20 rear tires
• 265/45R20 front tires and 275/45R20 rear tires
• 265/35R22 front tires and 285/35R22 rear tires

Because the Tesla Model X is heavy and transfers near-instant torque through its tires, the Model X typically goes through tires quicker than ICE vehicles. This is even more pronounced, because regardless of trim level, the Model X is staggered and has wider rear tires. That means your mileage warranties will be halved. (And it doesn’t help that it's so hard to keep off the accelerator!) That said, you can extend the tread life of your Model Y tires with routine tire maintenance, including monthly airchecks.

Depending on its year model and trim level, your Model X may come with specialized tires that feature unique characteristics like foam embedded inside the tire to improve ride quality. That said, as long as your new tires have the appropriate load carrying capacity, speed rating and tire size for your Tesla, any tire can be equipped on your Model X.
